After Simone Biles<\/strong> helped lead the United States women\u2019s gymnastics team to a gold medal in the all-around, she celebrated with her family. That included husband Jonathan Owens<\/strong>, who received an excused absence from the Chicago Bears to attend the 2024 Paris Olympics.<\/p>\n

Following the team victory, Owens posted a picture<\/a> on Instagram with Biles while he was wearing her medal. Some users in the comments called the star gymnast out for letting Owens put the gold medal on, and another took to TikTok<\/a> to do so.<\/p>\n

Biles offered a strong defense in the comments. She noted she let her entire family wear it and take pictures and encouraged people to avoid \u201cassumptions\u201d about how she celebrated.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. So don\u2019t ever make assumptions,\u201d she wrote, along with an eyeroll emoji. \u201cLike y\u2019all are so f\u2014king miserable. Leave us alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Owens got to watch Biles win gold in the team all-around and the individual event during his trip to Paris. He signed with the Bears this offseason as a free agent, and head coach Matt Eberflus<\/strong> and the team allowed him to take a week off to go watch Biles compete. Owens returned to Chicago and practiced with the team Saturday.<\/p>\n

Biles rose to the occasion in a big way to help the U.S. win the team all-around. The Americans brought home the gold medal once again with an impressive score of 171.296. Italy finished second with a score of 165.494 to take home the silver medal, while Brazil earned the bronze with a score of 164.497. Biles clinched the top spot for the United States, performing an incredible floor routine to secure the gold.<\/p>\n

Simone Biles adds another gold medal<\/h2>\n

Saturday, Simone Biles once again proved herself as the greatest to ever do it. She took on the vault<\/a><\/strong> and continued her dominance.<\/p>\n

Biles\u2019 average score of 15.300 took home the gold medal as she topped Brazilian star Rebecca Andradge<\/strong>, who won the silver with a 14.966. Fellow U.S. star Jade Carey<\/strong> then rounded out the podium with the bronze medal after an impressive showing of her own, scoring 14.466.<\/p>\n

That came after Biles won her second gold medal<\/a><\/strong> of the 2024 Paris Olympics in the individual women\u2019s all-around. She capped it off with the floor routine \u2013 her strongest event \u2013 and scored a 15.066. That sealed her second gymnastics gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics, and it put her in position to bring home a third in Saturday\u2019s vault.<\/p>\n

Biles has two events left during her 2024 Paris Olympics trip. The next will be the balance beam, and she\u2019ll wrap things up with, appropriately, the floor routine.<\/p>\n
