The Big Ten has released its famous \u2018maps\u2019 commercial with its new members \u2014\u00a0Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington \u2014\u00a0going viral one day after the new schools joined the league officially.<\/p>\n

On3\u2019s Andrew Graham broke down the commercial: <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Across the Midwest \u2014 and now West Coast \u2014 hearts were surely warmed at the Big Ten releasing an updated version of it\u2019s iconic \u201cMaps\u201d commercial. Now featured: The four new teams on the West Coast.<\/em><\/p>\n

And it\u2019s not just new campuses getting shown off in the video, along with the stadiums for their respective teams. Some key local landmarks also get featured.<\/em><\/p>\n

As the view glides south into the Pacific Northwest, a float plane buzzes by in front of the Seattle Space Needle before Puddles, Oregon\u2019s duck mascot, leaps through the yellow and green \u201cO\u201d logo. When Los Angeles comes into the frame, the Hollywood sign, Santa Monica Pier and the L.A. skyline get some shine.<\/em><\/p>\n

From there, the commercial continues as it had through the league, going from Lincoln, Nebraska, all the way to East Coast outposts of Piscataway, New Jersey and College Park, Maryland.<\/em><\/p>\n

And the song is the ever-familiar \u201cSilver Lining\u201d by Guard.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Big Ten officially welcomed the four West Coast schools \u2014 Washington, Oregon, USC and UCLA \u2014 to the league on Friday, Aug. 2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Former Michigan basketball guard Franz Wagner put up 26 points in a win for Germany over France to sweep Group B with three wins.<\/p>\n

Franz Wagner scored 26 points, while Moritz Wagner had eight off the bench as Germany swept Group B (3-0) after an 85-71 win over France. <\/p>\n

Franz dominated with balanced scoring, long-range buckets, and highlight-reel dunks, while Moe drew guarding Victor Wembanyama<\/p>\n
