The Xfinity Series\u2019 Alsco Uniform 300 is back under the red flag once again at Charlotte Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>The good news of a return to racing dissipated in grand fashion, as NASCAR brought the field back down to pit road for another stoppage. Mother Nature has a vendetta against the NASCAR Xfinity Series this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing, the original announcement to delay the race on Monday came after visible droplets continued to fall on the track, even as NASCAR tried to push on through the inclement weather. Many drivers and even JR Motorsports patriarch Dale Earnhardt Jr. questioned what was taking so long to display the red flag.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis seems excessive,\u201d Earnhardt Jr. tweeted, accompanying a rain cloud emoji.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, drivers Brett Moffit and Rajah Caruth told their teams the rain was worse than the broadcast would lead on, with Caruth telling his team, \u201cIt\u2019s straight up raining. Like we\u2019re not loose. I\u2019m driving on water.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Time will tell if the rain will only affect the NASCAR Xfinity Series or the Cup Series as well, but one has to keep in mind the Coca-Cola 600 is slated to kick off at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, and the weather is not cooperating.<\/p>\n<h2>More on Coca-Cola 600, Starting Grid<\/h2>\n<p>Moreover, as a result of the canceled practice and qualifying runs, the starting lineup for the Coca-Cola 600 was automatically set according to the rule book instead of performance in qualifiers.
