GAINESVILLE, Fla. \u2014 There\u2019s no place like home. The Florida Gators<\/a> won\u2019t have to leave the friendly confines of Condron Family Ballpark unless they advance to the College World Series. Monday it was revealed that Florida was the No. 2 overall seed in the 2023 NCAA Baseball Tournament and will host a Regional as well as a Super Regional. <\/p>\n

This is Kevin O\u2019Sullivan\u2019s 16th season at the helm of the Florida Gators and the 10th time the team has earned a National Seed. <\/p>\n

Sunday night it was revealed that the Gators were a regional host. The 2023 campaign marked Florida\u2019s third-straight season hosting an NCAA Regional including the 13th overall under O\u2019Sullivan out of a possible 15 seasons (no NCAA Tournament in 2020). In total, this will be the 19th NCAA Gainesville Regional hosted in program history.<\/p>\n

The Gainesville Regional has matched up the Columbia Regional, which includes South Carolina (39-19), NC State (35-19), Central Conn. State (36-12) and Campbell (44-13). If Florida advances past the Gainesville Regional, it will host the winner of the Columbia Regional for a Super Regional with a ticket to Omaha on the line. <\/p>\n
