Selection Monday has finally arrived. After a long regular season and conference tournaments, the postseason is here. After the 16 regional host sites were announced on Sunday evening, On3 released our first<\/a><\/strong> Field of 64 projection, predicting the entire NCAA Tournament bracket. <\/p>\n

Late on Sunday night, just hours before the full release of the field, D1Baseball took one final stab at projecting<\/a> the Field of 64. <\/p>\n

Throughout the last week, upsets in conference tournaments across the country wreaked havoc on the bubble, both for hosting and to get into the tournament altogether. Multiple teams took surprise runs to their conference tournament championship games, with many winning and stealing a bid. As a result, the bubble got tighter and some teams that were likely in a couple of days ago now find themseleves on the outside looking in. <\/p>\n

D1Baseball\u2019s Field of 64 had ten teams make the tournament from the SEC, followed by eight from the ACC. <\/p>\n

The winner of each of the 16 regionals will move on to face the winner of the regional they are matched up with. The winner of the regional with the No. 1 overall seed will face off against the No. 16 regional\u2019s winner, No. 2 vs. No. 15, etc. <\/p>\n
