Tampa (Fla.) Armwood four-star running back Girard Pringle<\/a><\/strong> may be committed to Miami<\/a><\/strong>, but that hasn\u2019t stopped several SEC programs and one of the Hurricanes\u2019 biggest in-state rivals from making late pushes for the No. 105 overall prospect.<\/p>\n

Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Auburn<\/strong> have all pushed for Pringle in recent weeks and are working to maintain their relationship with the Hurricanes\u2019 lone running back commit, although Pringle said he isn\u2019t going anywhere. Pringle said Miami checks all of his boxes between football and day-to-day life and only reminded him during his official visit why he committed. Pringle does not plan to visit any other programs and has reiterated his recruitment is \u201ctotally shut down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel it was a great decision,\u201d Pringle said. \u201cIt was the best decision I ever made. I\u2019m building a new family, and as more and more are committing, they\u2019re just joining the family. We\u2019re ready to win and take over.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pringle said Miami\u2019s recent string of blue-chip commitments and rapid rise in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings<\/a><\/strong> showed him he made the right decision and that others believe in head coach Mario Cristobal\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> vision the same way he does. He added he and four-star Georgia receiver commit Tyler Williams<\/a><\/strong>, who was one of Miami\u2019s top receiver targets in the cycle and his teammate at Armwood, have both made cracks at flipping each other to their respective schools but have made little progress.<\/p>\n

Pringle does not plan to visit any additional schools this fall but may return to Miami between the July and August recruiting dead periods to visit Coral Gables one final time before his senior season starts. Pringle said he wants to eclipse the 1000-yard mark again this fall after rushing for 1683 yards and 24 touchdowns on 219 carries a season ago. <\/p>\n

He added he\u2019s not worried about new pushes from different programs this fall because he knows he\u2019s sticking with the Hurricanes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just home,\u201d Pringle said. \u201cI don\u2019t see myself anywhere else. (Now I\u2019m) definitely trying to win a district championship once again (this fall), but my main goal is to go to state and win it all for my senior year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Georgia has pushed the hardest for Pringle over the last few weeks, although I think it\u2019ll be extremely difficult to pull him away from Miami given his belief in Cristobal<\/a><\/strong> and tight relationship with running backs coach Matt Merritt.<\/a><\/strong> I expect to see Pringle back in South Florida a few times this fall.<\/p>\n
