The NBPA Top-100 Camp is one of the more prestigious camps of the summer. Elite players from the class of 2025, 2026, and even 2027 were all represented at this invite-only event located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports on the campus of Walt Disney World.<\/p>\n
Below is a list of notes I gathered during my time in Orlando when it comes to top players and their college recruitments.<\/p>\n
Meleek Thomas<\/a><\/strong> was superb at the Top-100 Camp this week, averaging an impressive 22.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game. <\/p>\n UConn and Arkansas are set to host him for official visits this month and Dan Hurley was seen watching at least two of his games this week. <\/p>\n My gut tells me that the Huskies are positioning themselves well here. UConn is rolling right now with Hurley deciding to return to Storrs over the LA Lakers in an attempt to 3-peat.<\/p>\n Pitt and Auburn are two schools that have both laid a strong foundation. I think Arkansas and Calipari are real threats too.<\/p>\n I would continue to monitor this recruitment closely. <\/p>\n Tounde Yessoufou<\/a><\/strong> continued his impressive spring with another strong performance at the Top-100 Camp, averaging 23.1 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. <\/p>\n Arizona built a strong relationship early and the 6-5 small forward will take an official visit to the Wildcats on June 16th. The new staff at USC has also made him a priority since their recent arrival in LA. Kentucky is another school to keep an eye on as the rising senior out of St. Joseph High (CA) has piqued the interest of Mark Pope and he\u2019s said in the past that UK is his dream school.<\/p>\n Jaylen Harrell<\/a><\/strong> was set to announce his commitment last month but decided to postpone the announcement altogether. <\/p>\n Providence established themselves as the leader for the four-star shooting guard out of CATS Academy (MA), but schools like Xavier, Rutgers, and others have made strong pushes. <\/p>\n Kiyan Anthony<\/a><\/strong> took over this week and led the camp in scoring, averaging 28.5 points per game. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Long Island Lutheran (NY) is the son of 10x NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony. Kiyan showed this week that basketball is truly in his blood and carries the same scoring instincts as his father. <\/p>\n Syracuse, \u2018Melo\u2019s alma mater, took an early lead in Kiyan\u2019s recruitment, causing me to place a prediction in favor of the Orange. Indiana is another program in the mix as Hoosiers head coach Mike Woodson coached Carmelo during his time with the NY Knicks. <\/p>\n Kiyan told me earlier this month that he\u2019s trying to visit Auburn, Ohio State, and Indiana during the month of September.<\/p>\n Isaiah Denis<\/a><\/strong> has exploded this spring, playing with Team CP3 on the EYBL Circuit, securing 15 offers in the last month alone. Ranked No. 112 nationally by On3, the 6-foot-4 point guard out of Davidson Day (NC) has scheduled official visits to Ohio State (September 7) and Pittsburgh (August 30-September 1).<\/p>\n Kingston Flemings<\/a><\/strong> has been a major stockriser this spring, flying up On3\u2019s rankings to 13th nationally (not to mention the No. 1 ranked point guard). Houston made the 6-foot-3 rising senior out of William J. Brennan\u00a0(TX) an early priority and the Cougs are currently in a good spot, according to sources. <\/p>\n The majority of Texas schools are clammoring to try to keep him in-state as he\u2019s also visited Texas Tech, Texas, Texas A&M, and SMU (old staff). However, programs like Kansas, Creighton, Michigan, and others have also extended offers. <\/p>\n Louisville, Michigan, and Georgetown are among the several schools that have solidified themselves in the recruitment of another stockrising guard in Acaden Lewis<\/a><\/strong> out of Sidwell Friends School (DC). Florida State and Virginia have each also hosted him on official visits. North Carolina is the latest school to offer and the Tar Heels could make things interesting in this recruitment. <\/p>\n Kentucky is set to play host to Lewis on an unofficial visit next week and UConn is the latest school to express their interest.
