Armwood four-star 2025\u00a0Miami\u00a0running back commit\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/girard-pringle-162858\/\">Girard Pringle\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>was no stranger to Coral Gables after making three trips to see the Hurricanes in a two-month span.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now Pringle and his family are set to see Miami once more, as he is set to take his official visit this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to finally get back with my family,\u201d Pringle told CaneSport. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to talking with the coaches and bonding with them once again while we spend a lot of time together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since the 5-foot-10, 185-pound back last visited Miami, his relationship with the entire Hurricanes coaching staff has continued to strengthen. When in talks with the staff, Pringle explained how the conversations are mostly about life rather than football.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been great, and my bond has been getting stronger with the whole coaching staff,\u201d Pringle said. \u201cWe talk more about life than football, and we just continue to bond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During his upcoming official visit, he is excited to talk X\u2019s and O\u2019s with the staff. Miami running back coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=matt+merritt+miami&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8\">Matt Merritt<\/a> has shown him a glimpse of how the Hurricanes envision him in their offense.<\/p>\n<p>Pringle, who is the No. 106 overall prospect in the On300 and No. 6 running back in the class, rushed for 1,683 yards and 24 touchdowns last season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Merritt) lets me know that I\u2019m going to be used in a lot of different ways,\u201d Pringle said. \u201cWe talk about how they can throw me passes out of the backfield and how I\u2019m a complete back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>CaneSport\u2019s take\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heading into his official visit, Pringle is locked in with the Hurricanes despite recent pushes from Alabama and new head coach Jalen DeBoer and his staff. Pringle\u2019s strong relationship with Merritt and Miami\u2019s staff is key, and we think a strong official visit could potentially keep the Crimson Tide away for the foreseeable future.\u00a0 \u201cThe relationship (with Merritt) is continuously growing,\u201d Pringle said. \u201cThe bond with me and coach Merritt is just getting stronger and stronger as we\u2019re getting to know each other. Our families met each other. Everything\u2019s just great. He\u2019s telling me what I can do for the program, lets me know I\u2019m a game changer and I can change the program, and everyone on the coaching staff loves my talent.
