NCAA Baseball\u2019s Transfer Portal window is open with the deadline to enter July 2, a month-long run for Jay Johnson and his staff to begin work on next season\u2019s LSU<\/a> Baseball roster.<\/p>\n

This season was a roller coaster for the staff as the Tigers clawed their way into postseason play just a year removed from winning a National Championship.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe held the trophy last year and I\u2019m equally proud of my team and our program today as I was that day,\u201d Johnson said after the season-ending loss to North Carolina<\/a>. \u201cWhere we were in the middle of SEC play to right now is one of the most gratifying coaching years of my entire life. To come out of that the way we came out of that, nobody does that, and to take these guys [to the end].\u201d<\/p>\n

Graduate transfers can still enter the transfer portal after the window ends. As postseason play continues while the Tigers are now done for the season, there\u2019s movement to track in the transfer portal for LSU.<\/p>\n

June 3: <\/strong>Frosh. IF Austin Rellig<\/a> \u2013 The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. native redshirted this season.<\/p>\n

June 3: <\/strong>Frosh. OF Derrick Mitchell \u2013 The Plano, Texas native redshirted this season.<\/p>\n

June 4: <\/strong>Soph. RHP Micah Bucknam<\/a> \u2013 Bucknam made eight appearances out of the bullpen with an ERA of 7.00. He notched 10 strikeouts and three walks in nine total innings. On 12 hits, he gave up seven earned runs. He thanked<\/a> the program for the past two years.<\/p>\n

June 5: <\/strong>Soph. RHP Aiden Moffett \u2013 In 16 appearances, Moffett threw 17.2 innings and allowed 18 hits, 11 runs, and 12 walks to 21 strikeouts.<\/p>\n

June 8: <\/strong>Frosh. LHP Cam Johnson \u2013 Johnson made 13 appearances with nine innings pitched. Johnson allowed five hits, but 16 walks and 12 earned runs to go with 13 strikeouts.<\/p>\n

June 8: <\/strong>RS Frosh. LHP Nic Bronzini \u2013 Bronzini threw 4.2 innings this year after redshirting his first year on campus in 2023.<\/p>\n

June 9: <\/strong>RS Frosh. OF Zeb Ruddell \u2013 Took a redshirt Year 1 at LSU. He went 2-for-10 at the plate with one double and a home run in 2024.<\/p>\n

Transfer Portal Window \u2013 LSU Additions (0)<\/h2>\n

Johnson and the staff haven\u2019t picked up any transfer commitments just yet.<\/p>\n
