The LSU football staff landed On3 RPM picks for a handful of targets on the defensive line following a successful official visit weekend.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, the Tigers will host the first LSU Elite Camp of the summer, and one of the staff\u2019s top targets on the defensive line for the 2026 cycle will be in attendance.<\/p>\n
After hosting the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2026 class in 5-star defensive lineman Jakheem Stewart<\/a><\/strong> for Sunday\u2019s LSU OL\/DL Camp in Baton Rouge, the Tigers are bringing Georgia 4-star Deuce Geralds<\/a><\/strong> to campus for camp on Thursday.<\/p>\n Geralds is the No. 11 defensive lineman and No. 107 overall prospect on the On3 Industry Rankings for the 2026 cycle, and college offers are in from more than 40 programs.<\/p>\n For LSU, there are ties to Geralds that could pay dividends for the Tigers. <\/p>\n LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson<\/a><\/strong> has been one of the most notable college recruiters in the modern recruiting era, and his resume includes a stint on the Ole Miss coaching staff.<\/p>\n During his time in Oxford, Wilson used his Bayou State roots to sign plenty of notable Louisiana natives. <\/p>\n That included Scotlandville defensive lineman Daverin Geralds<\/a><\/strong>, who was part of a 2006 Louisiana class that saw former Tigers like defensive tackle Al Woods and running back Charles Scott sign with LSU.<\/p>\n Geralds signed with Wilson and Ole Miss. Now, Wilson is back on LSU\u2019s staff at the same time as Geralds\u2019 son \u2013 Deuce Geralds<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 is emerging as one of the nation\u2019s most-coveted defensive line prospects in the 2026 cycle.<\/p>\n Wilson has kept a close relationship with Geralds since his time playing for the Rebels, and LSU has been recruiting his son since the Tigers turned the page to the 2026 class.
