Nebraska sophomore Gabe Swansen had one home run in 25 games as the regular season came to an end. He now has seven home runs in the past eight games dating back to the start of the Big Ten Tournament.<\/p>\n
Swansen stayed hot with a two-run home run in the first inning against Florida in an elimination game of the Stillwater Regional on Sunday.<\/p>\n

When I say sudden, just quicker,\u201d Will Bolt said. \u201cHe\u2019s kind of been searching a little bit mechanically and it\u2019s kind of taken a toll on him a little bit mentally. He found something about a month ago that\u2019s worked for him and it\u2019s clicked and he\u2019s been on the barrel ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n Gabe Swansen has upped his average to .326 on the season. Josh Overbeek has also homered for the Cornhuskers, but it\u2019s Florida that leads in the fifth inning.<\/p>\n Bolt was also asked if Swansen has shared with the rest of the lineup what led to his hot streak.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, if only it were that simple,\u201d he said laughing. \u201cEverybody\u2019s a little bit different.
