Semaj Beals<\/a><\/strong>, a 6-foot-0 and 165-pound three-star quarterback from Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic is the latest 2026 signal-caller to pick up an offer from Nebraska<\/a>. The Nebraska staff came by his school to talk to his coach and extended the offer that day while they were at his high school.<\/p>\n

\u201cNebraska talked to my coach,\u201d Beals said. \u201cIt was coach EJ Barthel <\/strong>and coach Rob Dvoracek<\/strong>. I have been hearing from them for a little while now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNebraska wants me to come down for a visit and see the campus. Coach EJ has told me that he wants me to come play for Nebraska.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beals would describe his style as that of former Ohio State Buckeye and current NFL quarterback CJ Stroud<\/a><\/strong> with the Houston Texans. He is definitely a keep-his-eyes-downfield, drop-back quarterback.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say that I play like CJ Stroud,\u201d Beals said. \u201cIt\u2019s pro-style with a pass-first and run-second style.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beals knew a few things about Nebraska before they offered. One of the things that Beals knows about Nebraska is that they signed a five-star quarterback a year ago. Beals sees it as a positive that Nebraska is recruiting him after immediately landing a five-star.<\/p>\n

\u201cI knew a little bit about Nebraska before they offered. I know that they just signed a five-star quarterback, Dylan Raiola.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt means a lot to me when a school like Nebraska gets a five-star quarterback and then they are recruiting me. That means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Semaj Beals would like to add a visit to Nebraska to his list of other visit plans<\/h2>\n

Beals has a jam-packed summer planned. He\u2019s already in Alabama for camp this week and plans to visit Colorado next weekend. There is a long list of schools Beals plans to see after Colorado, and he wants to add Nebraska to that list.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have been to Indiana, Illinois, and I have some more coming up,\u201d Beals said. \u201cI will be in Alabama this week. Colorado is June 4th and 5th, Ohio State, Penn State, Duke, West Virginia, Boston College, Syracuse, and I want to see what dates are open to get to Nebraska.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the past two seasons, Beals has thrown for 2,424 yards with a 60% completion percentage. He threw 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions.<\/p>\n
