Ohio State hit the road hard in May, looking at many offensive linemen in the country who they felt could play at the level required to be a Buckeye.<\/p>\n
One player that offensive line coach Justin Frye saw, liked a ton, and eventually offered was Roswell (GA) product Andrew Stargel<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n The Buckeyes immediately jumped into the top five for Stargel<\/a>, before he even visited campus. He made his first trip to Columbus on Friday, allowing him to see everything the program has to offer.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was unreal,\u201d Stargel told Lettermen Row. \u201cI got a full tour of the facilities and was able to have dinner with Coach Frye. The highlight for me was definitely seeing the stadium.\u201d<\/p>\n It was just a one day trip, but Stargel got to spend quality time with both Frye and head coach Ryan Day, something he said he was looking forward to ahead of the visit<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cI mainly spoke with Coach Frye, but I also had a long talk with Coach Day,\u201d Stargel said. \u201cThey spoke to me about how I would fit into the program and all of the things that go into Ohio State.\u201d<\/p>\n Now that Stargel has visited OSU, where do the Buckeyes stand on his list?<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re definitely in my top three, along with Kentucky and UCF,\u201d Stargel responded when asked. \u201cI\u2019m most definitely taking an official visit.
