When looking at On3\u2019s NIL 100<\/strong><\/a>, not many are better than Dillon Gabriel<\/a><\/strong>. The Oregon<\/strong><\/a> quarterback finds himself at No. 10 overall and No. 8 in the college football world. Gabriel has struck deals with multiple brands, dating back to his time with the Oklahoma Sooners<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

So with some extra cash in his pocket, Gabriel has been able to splurge and buy himself a few nice things. He has been logical with his spending though, attempting to buy things he can use on a daily basis. None more enjoyable than a king-size bed, something he\u2019s gotten since moving up to the Pacific Northwest.<\/p>\n

\u201cI try to purchase things you\u2019ll use every day,\u201d Gabriel said<\/a>. \u201cMe and my girlfriend used to have a full bed. It was tough. But once we got the king bed it was like she was on a whole other island. You get your space, so that was huge. Helps me with sleeping.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recovery is as important as anything for an athlete. Being able to get a good night\u2019s sleep, especially a couple of days before game time can be the difference between a good performance and a bad one. Gabriel did not know the exact brand of his mattress but could not speak higher of the experience.<\/p>\n

A few other items Gabriel mentioned buying were a Tempurpedic neck pillow and a couch \u2014 both something to use on a daily basis. <\/p>\n

However, the cutest of them all may be the dog he bought and named Winston. A miniature golden schnauzer, there\u2019s nothing better than man\u2019s best friend.<\/p>\n

Dillon Gabriel believes Dan Lanning is \u201crefreshing\u201d to play for<\/h2>\n

Gabriel spent two years at Oklahoma and got the program back on the right track during the 2023 season. But with Jackson Arnold<\/a><\/strong> in Norman, his time to start was coming and Gabriel felt like he needed a fresh start as well to elevate his game.<\/p>\n

He landed on Oregon and head coach Dan Lanning, calling the experience \u201crefreshing.\u201d Despite being on campus for just a few months, Gabriel is enjoying his time with Lanning.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been refreshing I think. A young coach who gets it and is challenging us but also not demeaning, not saying I\u2019ve had that experience in my time,\u201d said Gabriel, who then noted Lanning\u2019s mindset.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s just been refreshing, you know. I think he\u2019s very innovative in the way he thinks, whether it\u2019s scheme or even just how we practice, what we do, how we do what we do. I think that\u2019s very important, because a lot of people are doing the same things, but trying to find your edge. And I think that he\u2019s done a really good job of that just within my four months of being here.\u201d<\/p>\n
