Warner Robins (Ga.) four-star EDGE Isaiah Gibson<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>arrived at USC<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>for an unofficial visit on March 23. A day later, he committed to the Trojans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gibson, who is \u201cstill with USC\u201d and solid with his pledge, will likely take an official visit to Los Angeles during the season. Other programs are still heavily recruiting him, including Alabama<\/strong><\/a>, Auburn<\/strong><\/a>, Florida<\/strong><\/a>, Florida State<\/strong><\/a>, Georgia<\/strong><\/a>, LSU<\/strong><\/a>, Ohio State<\/strong><\/a>, Oklahoma<\/strong><\/a>, Oregon<\/strong><\/a>, South Carolina<\/strong><\/a>, Tennessee<\/strong><\/a> and Texas<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCertain schools have turned it up a notch since I committed,\u201d Gibson told On3. \u201cGeorgia is definitely No. 1 coming the hardest. Florida State, Ohio State, Oregon, then a lot of SEC schools are coming hard.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m open to every school that\u2019s interested in me. I\u2019m keeping everything open,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

\u2018Anything can happen\u2019 in Gibson\u2019s recruitment<\/h2>\n

The 6-foot-4, 240-pound pass rusher will be taking an official visit to Ohio State this week and has also locked in officials to Georgia (May 31-June 2), South Carolina (June 7-9), Auburn (June 10-12), Florida (June 14-16) and Oklahoma (June 21-23). The No. 4 player in Georgia<\/a> shared that the Bulldogs are \u201cfor sure\u201d the program working hardest to flip him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When asked what could change his mind about his commitment to USC, Gibson \u2013 the No. 24 overall prospect and No. 2 EDGE in the 2025 On300<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 responded that \u201canything can happen.\u201d Yet he is still feeling great about head coach Lincoln Riley<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s program.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like his coaching style for sure and the way he lets his players be themselves,\u201d Gibson told On3<\/a> about Riley last month. \u201cIt\u2019s like so many different personalities, but everyone is themselves. It\u2019s a lot of different vibes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opportunities that USC has on and off the field were big, for sure,\u201d he also shared. \u201cIt was my first time in California and I like that they have my major, business real estate. I feel like I could thrive inside and outside of football and it was just the right decision.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gibson discusses his interest in three other schools<\/h2>\n

Auburn<\/strong>: \u201cEver since I touched down in Auburn, I\u2019ve loved everything about it, honestly,\u201d Gibson told Auburn Live<\/a> on April 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a lot of meetings, player meetings and talked to coach Hugh Freeze<\/strong><\/a>,\u201d he added. \u201cI liked talking to coach Freeze for sure. Then, just the overall environment at Auburn, it\u2019s good energy everywhere. The players had good energy early in the morning. All around, there is just a good feel at Auburn.\u201d<\/p>\n

Florida<\/strong>: \u201cThey have always been consistent since day one,\u201d Gibson told Gators Online<\/a> on March 30. \u201cEver since the first time I came here, it\u2019s always been consistent and that\u2019s just how it is every time I come here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see myself here, honestly,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Florida State<\/strong>: \u201cIt\u2019s always been the same when I come here,\u201d Gibson told Warchant<\/a> on April 4. \u201cThere is a good all-around vibe when I come\u2026 There is the tradition, for sure, and all of the energy and all the respect they have around the team\u2026 You can\u2019t beat it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
