In news that comes as a surprise to absolutely no one, Karter Knox<\/a><\/strong> will be following John Calipari to Arkansas after backing out of his commitment to Kentucky.<\/p>\n

The four-star small forward out of Overtime Elite has recommitted to Coach Cal on the heels of an official visit to Fayetteville. He was the first member of the Wildcats\u2019 2024 recruiting class to decommit, and now, he\u2019s the first of that same group to become a Razorback, he told On3\u2019s Joe Tipton.<\/p>\n

Knox is rated as the No. 24 overall prospect and No. 8 small forward in the 2024 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a><\/strong>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He checks in at No. 19 overall in the On3 Top 150.<\/p>\n

Consider Kenny Payne\u2019s move to Arkansas as Calipari\u2019s new associate head coach and the decision was a no-brainer for the younger brother of former Kentucky standout Kevin Knox.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout my whole recruiting process, Coach Cal always said he wants to make me a pro, and I trust that he will do that for me at Arkansas,\u201d Knox told ESPN.<\/a> \u201cI also have a great relationship with Coach Kenny Payne, so getting to play for two coaches I admire is a dream come true. I\u2019m looking forward to getting there, getting to work and bringing a winning mentality to Fayetteville.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 6-6, 211-pound forward joins Zvonimir Ivisic as players previously expected to suit up for Kentucky in 2024-25 and now find themselves at Arkansas under John Calipari.<\/p>\n

And they certainly won\u2019t be the last.<\/p>\n
