The Wolverines are thin there, with only four playing on the Maize team. Four quarterbacks saw time. The Blue team went with just six offensive linemen, while the Maize did a bit more rotating.

The two starting signal-callers got the bulk of the snaps — Orji and Warren — and offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell said after Michigan’s spring game concluded that the depth chart will be a topic of conversation amongst the staff this coming week.

“All of them have done really good things,” Campbell said. “We’ll sit down this next week, [head coach] Sherrone [Moore] and I, the rest of the offense staff. I’ll get everybody’s input and see. They’ve all done some really good things, but see how the depth chart stacks up. We’ll do that evaluation this week.”

Michigan defense notes: Since the offenses used a lot of heavy formations, Michigan went with less nickel (five defensive backs) than it likely will in games this fall, meaning an extra defensive lineman was on the field. Linebacker was the position group with the most rotation, and there was quite a bit of moving around in the defensive backfield. McBurrows and Berry both played nickel but also played at their typical spots of corner and safety, respectively.

The post Michigan football 2024 spring game participation chart, injury report appeared first on On3.

Michigan Wolverines football held its annual spring game Saturday (April 20) at The Big House,…

[1

post-48573","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
