Indiana<\/strong><\/a> transfer Philip Blidi<\/a><\/strong> has canceled a planned visit to Oklahoma<\/strong><\/a>, he announced on his Twitter account<\/a> on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Blidi is a talented defensive lineman who spent the last year at Indiana after three years at Texas Tech<\/strong><\/a>, one of the most coveted options in the trenches in the transfer portal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will not be in Norman this weekend,\u201d Blidi tweeted.<\/p>\n

During his lone season at Indiana, Blidi racked up 30 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss and one pass breakup. In three seasons at Texas Tech, Blidi recorded 27 tackles and 1.5 tackles for a loss.<\/p>\n

He has received interest from the likes of both Auburn<\/strong><\/a> and LSU<\/strong><\/a>, among others, in the NCAA transfer portal. He recently visited Auburn and had very positive things to say, according to On3\u2019s Jeffrey Lee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a complete visit,\u201d Blidi said<\/strong><\/a>. \u201cI love the people. I love the coaches. Everybody was welcoming and I loved that about them. They really care about their guys, and it\u2019s so obvious to me. It\u2019s really a family atmosphere there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to enrolling at Texas Tech, Philip Blidi was a three-star prospect and the No. 815 overall recruit in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.<\/p>\n

He also checked in as the No. 61 EDGE defender in the class and the No. 2 overall player from the state of New Mexico, hailing from Portales (NM) Portales.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma set to host another defensive line transfer<\/h2>\n

Louisville<\/strong><\/a> defensive lineman Jermayne Lole<\/a><\/strong> announced<\/a> plans Wednesday night for his four transfer portal<\/a> visits.<\/p>\n

He spent three seasons at Arizona State<\/a><\/strong> before\u00a0transferring to Louisville<\/a> in May 2022. The defensive lineman will visit Oklahoma<\/strong><\/a> this weekend for the spring game before visiting Washington<\/strong><\/a> on April 22.<\/p>\n

Since he\u2019s an ACC transfer, he is free to transfer to SEC<\/strong> schools. The grad transfer also announced he will visit Texas A&M<\/strong><\/a> on April 24 and USC<\/strong><\/a> on April 26. Lole has appeared in 40 career games with the Sun Devils and Cardinals, tallying 141 total tackles, 25 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks.<\/p>\n

Lole was a preseason All-Pac-12 selection before the 2021 season. His best year in an Arizona State uniform came in 2019 when he had 71 tackles and 6.5 sacks as a sophomore.<\/p>\n
