IMG Academy 2026 offensive lineman\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/gnivre-carr-176416\/\" rel=\"noopener\">G\u2019nivre Carr<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The four-star offensive lineman made his way to Coral Gables for the first time this spring as he continues to strengthen his relationship with Miami\u2019s staff and got a close-up look at the Hurricanes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really wanted to come out and watch the spring game because I haven\u2019t had the chance to watch them, and I knew it would be a very intense scrimmage, so I had to come out and watch,\u201d Carr told CaneSport. \u201cEvery time I come here, it\u2019s great. They treat me well and show great hospitality.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Prior to transferring to IMG Academy, Carr, who is the No. 202 ranked prospect in the 2026 class according to the On3 Industry Ranking, played at Trinity Catholic in Ocala, Fla., alongside current Miami offensive lineman <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/tommy-kinsler-146504\/\">Tommy Kinsler<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During Saturday\u2019s spring game, Carr kept a close eye on his former teammate and was pleased to see Kinsler taking multiple reps throughout the scrimmage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt made me feel good,\u201d Carr said. \u201cSeeing one of my former teammates do their thing in college and ball out made a great impact on how I look at Miami.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With over 20 offers on the table for the rising sophomore, Carr says Miami is one of the programs near the top of his list of schools. Alongside the Hurricanes, programs such as Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas A&amp;M and Louisville have offered the 6-foot-4, 325-pounder thus far.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would definitely say they\u2019re a top 10 school,\u201d Carr said. \u201cRight now, I\u2019m weighing out all my options and seeing where I will land my senior year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Carr may be a while away from announcing his college decision, Miami offensive line coach <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/coach\/alex-mirabal-133852\/\">Alex Mirabal<\/a><\/strong> and head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/miamihurricanes.com\/coach\/mario-cristobal\/\">Mario Cristobal <\/a>have made the rising offensive lineman feel at home in Coral Gables early on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can see myself at Miami because of Mirabal and Cristobal,\u201d Carr said. \u201cCoach Mirabal and coach Cristobal are great, and coach Cristobal has experience playing o-line as well. Those two coaches right there are great.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>CaneSport\u2019s take<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since transferring to IMG Academy, Carr has seen his recruiting stock steadily rise, and the Hurricanes have been in the mix since the very beginning.
