Ted Scott will never forget the 2024 Masters. The caddie for Scottie Scheffler went to social media to post a video of him sleeping with the Masters pin flag<\/a> to celebrate Scheffler\u2019s win. Scott has now earned four Masters titles in his career, becoming to fifth caddie to reach that mark. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m pinching myself. I don\u2019t know how I get to do this,\u201d Scott said on Sunday, per Golf Digest.<\/em><\/a> \u201cI don\u2019t really know what I\u2019m seeing. The guy is special. He\u2019s a different kind of special. I think we\u2019re all seeing it, and we\u2019re all questioning where did this come from?<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve just been very fortunate that great people will take me on as their caddie. I\u2019ve worked for some incredible golfers. Scottie is just added to the list, and now it\u2019s just incredible to be a part of it. I\u2019m just very fortunate.\u201d<\/p>\n

What to know about Ted Scott<\/h2>\n

Scott is one of the top caddies on the PGA Tour. He helped Scheffler win the Masters in 2022 and was also the caddie to Bubba Watson when he won the Masters in 2012 and 2014. Scott became Scheffler\u2019s caddie before the 2022 season after winning 10 events and two majors with Watson. <\/p>\n

\u201cI have no regrets, and I don\u2019t think he does either,\u201d Watson said of their split in 2022, per\u00a0Golf.com<\/a>. \u201c[Scott] has made more money now without me. He needed 10 more years. I haven\u2019t told anybody, but I had some struggles this offseason. Wrote a book about some struggles. My wrist, I had a wrist injury all last year. Had some PRP (platelet-rich plasma injections).<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I called him and told him. I said, look, man, I\u2019m 43 years old. I don\u2019t know what I\u2019m going to do. My wrist is killing me. He is like he needs 10 more years, and I gave him \u2014 I felt like a nice retirement package when we split up, but we split up mutually.\u201d<\/p>\n

After this year\u2019s Masters<\/a>, Scheffler praised Scott for guiding him all four rounds. \u201cI was very focused out there today. I felt like I did a really good job,\u201d Scheffler said. \u201cTeddy did a great job of making sure that we kept the golf course in front of us. I didn\u2019t get off to the best start, but I had some key up-and-downs, and Teddy once again did a great job of keeping me in it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
