Notre Dame practices on Saturday, which of courses means that the Fighting Irish staff will host a handful of prospects on campus. Blue & Gold recruiting insider Mike Singer<\/a><\/strong> takes a look at what Irish fans need to know headed into the weekend.<\/p>\n

COMMITS ON CAMPUS<\/h2>\n

As always in these visitor preview articles, we start with the committed prospects due in for Notre Dame, and we\u2019ve been able to confirm a trio of prospects in the 2025 class. <\/p>\n

Elmhurst (Ill.) Immaculate Conception Catholic Prep linebacker Dominik Hulak<\/strong><\/a>, Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School safety\u00a0Ethan Long<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange safety Ivan Taylor<\/a><\/strong> will be on campus.<\/p>\n

This mark\u2019s the first trip Hulak has taken to Notre Dame this spring, and he\u2019s looking to make the short drive over next weekend for the Blue-Gold Game, too.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame will be glad to have Long and Taylor on campus. Both prospects appear to be solid in their respective commitments, but it\u2019s always good to have them back, especially considering the position coach they committed to (Chris O\u2019Leary<\/strong>) left for the Los Angeles Chargers.<\/p>\n

HUGE 2025 TARGETS TO VISIT NOTRE DAME<\/h2>\n

Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert High cornerback Trystan Haynes<\/a><\/strong> is a hot name in the world of Notre Dame recruiting this week, as Blue & Gold reported this week that he\u2019s already set to return to campus this summer for an official visit and logged a prediction for him to eventually land with the Fighting Irish. This is a huge visit for both parties. If all goes well, the Irish could be in an extremely strong position with him.<\/p>\n

San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) JSerra Catholic linebacker\u00a0Madden Faraimo<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0hasn\u2019t been to Notre Dame in nearly a year, and this is definitely a big trip. The elite prospect is one of the Irish\u2019s top overall prospects left on the 2025 board, and the staff would love nothing more than to add him. Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC are his top four schools, but Texas and Washington have gotten more involved in the past few weeks. I wouldn\u2019t peg the Irish as the leader here yet, but that could change this weekend.<\/p>\n

Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills defensive lineman\u00a0Javeon Campbell<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is an interesting one. It\u2019s a return visit for Campbell, who made it to South Bend Feb. 1. We don\u2019t get the sense currently that Campbell is a likely prospect to end up at Notre Dame \u2014 for now. Things can shift after his trip this weekend, though. Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Ohio State will host him for summer official visits; there\u2019s no word on him heading out to South Bend in June.<\/p>\n

NOTABLE 2026 PROSPECTS<\/h2>\n

Notre Dame offered several dozen prospects for Pot of Gold day a month ago, and a few of those class of 2026 prospects are scheduled to be in South Bend this weekend.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Loyola cornerback\u00a0Brandon Lockhart<\/a><\/strong> has been committed to USC since last October but hasn\u2019t completely shut down his recruiting process. And he\u2019ll get a look at Notre Dame for the first time this weekend.<\/p>\n

Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park EDGE\u00a0Rodney Dunham<\/strong><\/a> is a top-100 overall recruit in the 2026 class. Dunham, who holds offers from the likes of Florida State, South Carolina and North Carolina, is also a high-level pitcher at the high school level.<\/p>\n

Naples (Fla.) Community School Of Naples offensive lineman\u00a0George Haseotes<\/a><\/strong> is an intriguing one. He\u2019s a double Notre Dame legacy, as his mother attended the university and his grandfather played football for the Irish back in the 1960s. Georgia, Miami and Louisville are among the offers for Haseotes, who last visited South Bend last October.<\/p>\n

Notre Dame is very excited to have Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) High cornerback\u00a0RJ Sermons<\/strong><\/a> visit this weekend. On3 ranks Sermon as the No. 18 player and No. 2 cornerback nationally. USC, Texas A&M and Oregon are just a few of the schools on his offer sheet. Sermons will be a tough pull out of the greater Los Angeles area, but the Irish staff is going to do everything in its power to land him.<\/p>\n
