Buford (Ga.) 2026 four-star safety Nassir McCoy<\/a><\/strong> got the chance to visit Georgia twice in less than a month The No. 239 overall prospect in 2026 On3 Industry Rankings visited Georgia on March 13 and then returned on April 1.<\/p>\n

He wanted to see how things run in Athens. <\/p>\n

\u201cI went back to be able to see the actual practice and how they run it,\u201d McCoy told DawgsHQ. <\/p>\n

Georgia is a program that McCoy has always held in high regard. The Bulldogs offered him early last season. McCoy has felt like a priority ever since. <\/p>\n

Every time he\u2019s on campus, Georgia\u2019s staff makes him feel at home. McCoy feels that Georgia will be in his recruitment for the long haul. That is why he\u2019s hoping to get as many looks at the in-state program as he can as his recruitment unfolds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bulldogs will always be a top choice for me,\u201d McCoy said. \u201cThey\u2019re making me a top priority early by getting me to see every aspect of the school and to see the true culture of the environment as a player.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nassir McCoy gets a look at Bulldogs\u2019 new coaches<\/h2>\n

McCoy was offered by former Georgia defensive backs coach Fran Brown<\/a><\/strong>. Brown is now the head coach at Syracuse. <\/p>\n

Georgia has since hired Donte Williams<\/a><\/strong> as the new defensive backs coach. Travaris Robinson <\/a><\/strong>moved from Alabama to become Georgia\u2019s co-defensive coordinator. <\/p>\n

McCoy had the chance to watch Williams and Robinson working with Georgia during spring practice last week. Both coaches left an impression on McCoy.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy initial impression of Donte Williams and T-Rob was an instant connection because they truly understand the game and how to develop a player,\u201d McCoy said. <\/p>\n

McCoy has already been leaning on his former teammate and cousin KJ Bolden<\/a><\/strong>, who enrolled at Georgia in January. Bolden has unearthed some of the truth about the development of Georgia can be beneficial long term.<\/p>\n

\u201cKJ always gives me real advice on just staying the course and keep grinding while soaking in all I can by watching and learning how he\u2019s being developed,\u201d McCoy said. <\/p>\n

On3\u2019s Recruiting Prediction Machine has Georgia at the top early on for McCoy. The Bulldogs have a 47.6 percent chance of landing the four-star according to RPM. <\/p>\n
