We start with the Canadian Football League. Former Penn State defender and Ottawa native Jonathan Sutherland<\/a><\/strong> was picked by the Montreal Alouettes in the first round of Tuesday night\u2019s CFL Draft with the No. 5 overall selection. The linebacker has also signed an undrafted free-agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks. He will presumably see how long his NFL career lasts before deciding whether or not to move on to the CFL. But, if he does, his time there would start in Montreal. <\/p>\n
