Earlier today on KSR\u2019s morning radio program<\/a>, a caller brought up a fun discussion about a Kentucky Basketball<\/a> version of TNT\u2019s hit NBA coverage with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O\u2019Neal. The caller, Bill, asked Matt Jones if Matt were to host a similarly-formatted halftime show with three former Kentucky Wildcats, which three would he pick to be his Kenny, Chuck, and Shaq.<\/p>\n

Ramel Bradley and DeMarcus Cousins were quick responses to fill two of the seats, specifically the roles of Kenny and Shaq. The third seat was debated on the show and the text machine, with names like Jamaal Magloire, Lukasz Obrzut, Richie Farmer, Rex Chapman, Kenny Walker, Travis Ford, and Willie Cauley-Stein in the mix. Rajon Rondo is the one player removed <\/em>from the conversation, per Ryan Lemond.<\/p>\n

Now I will, admittedly, steal Bill\u2019s idea and bring the radio content here to the internet, where I will ask you, KSR readers, to name your three former \u2018Cats to best match TNT\u2019s Emmy-winning NBA halftime and postgame content.<\/p>\n

Bill put Matt in the host seat, but we\u2019ll leave Ernie\u2019s job up for debate in the conversation, too, if you feel compelled to name your own.<\/p>\n

Isaiah Briscoe \u2013 Sometimes someone can be so bad at media, they are good at it. Briscoe hated talking to the media, yet he was responsible for some of the best answers.<\/p>\n

Lance Ware \u2013 How about Lance?<\/p>\n

John Wall \u2013 Give me John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins behind the desk with someone from an older generation to bridge the gap. Or maybe Eric Bledsoe. Now that I think about it, just put the Three Amigos up there.<\/p>\n
