Rashaud Marshall<\/a><\/strong>, a four-star power forward in the senior class, has de-committed from Ole Miss<\/strong>, he told On3. <\/p>\n

The 6-foot-8 prospect out of Blytheville (Ark.) High originally committed and signed to former Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis<\/strong> but requested to be released from his National Letter of Intent after Davis was fired. The Rebels then hired former Texas<\/strong> head coach Chris Beard<\/strong> and Marshall re-committed to the program. After some back-and-forth, Marshall has now ultimately decided to reopen his recruitment and find a new home. <\/p>\n

Marshall is the No. 92 overall prospect and No. 18 power forward in the 2023 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/a><\/strong>. He is also the No. 2 player in Arkansas.<\/p>\n

On3 rates Marshall higher than other recruiting services, according to the\u00a0Industry Comparison<\/a>. Per On3\u2019s\u00a02023 basketball rankings<\/a>, he is the No. 72 overall prospect, No. 15 power forward and No. 1 player in Arkansas.<\/p>\n

\u201cRashaud Marshall is strong a, burly post player on the block. He is physical on the block, buries his man deep, and gives a big target. Marshall has good hands and can finish, through contact, with both hands around the basket. He did not take a jump shot, but the free-throw form looked like you could build on it. There were a couple plays where he ripped through and attacked from the top of the key.
