In this episode, Justin and Joe discuss:<\/h2>\n

Justin and Joe open with the ESPN FPI ranking released this week. The Longhorns are at No. 5, with LSU at No. 4, No. 3 is Alabama, No. 2 Georgia, and No. 1 Ohio State. On paper, the Texas roster is one of the most talented in the country and hold 54.4% percent chance that UT wins the Big 12. The biggest gap is from No. 4 and below, with the Buckeyes, Bulldogs, and Bama head and shoulders above the field. Oklahoma and TCU round out the top 30 programs in the country. They also discuss getting UH and BYU on the Texas schedule for 2023. Justin and Joe discuss the latest from the NFL Draft and where the Longhorns might get selected starting next week. Both agree Bijan Robinson<\/a><\/strong> and Roschon Johnson<\/a><\/strong> will likely be the first and second players selected, respectively. The debate surrounds the third player picked, where Joe believes Moro Ojomo<\/a><\/strong> is next off the board, but Justin sees Demarvion Overshown <\/a><\/strong>going next. Both agree Keondre Coburn<\/a><\/strong> goes later in the draft, and D\u2019Shawn Jamison<\/a><\/strong> and Anthony Cook<\/a><\/strong> likely going undrafted and headed for rookie free agency. Justin and Joe talk about the latest from 2024 recruiting class, with On3 four-star WR Freddie Dubose <\/a><\/strong>scheduling his official visit in June. Dubose, coming off an ACL injury, is very close to 100% as he heads into area track meet. They both agree that more Horns getting picked in this year\u2019s NFL Draft will help on the recruiting front, after inking a top three and top five class over the last two years. Colleges using the negative sell about Texas and the NFL is slowly but surely dwindling away. <\/p>\n
