Before my next season, I want to commit.”

Murphy is down to a final five of Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, West Virginia, and Penn State. He broke down his thoughts on Kentucky.

“I went up there,” he said. “It was a very beautiful campus and I just loved it. I loved it there.

“Every single school I just named really produces well with wide receivers,” Murphy said. “They have a lot of wide receivers in the NFL. The coaching staff all treated me as if I was already on the team. The fan base is just crazy. They go insane. When I dropped my top five, I saw a majority of Kentucky fans than any other school. I really do like it up there.”

Murphy, who is in contact with Kentucky offensive line coach Zach Yenser, said he is in contact with UK almost every day.

“He texts me all the time in the morning, saying, ‘Good morning. I’m pretty sure he’s going to continue recruiting me now that they’re in my top five. There’s a potential chance that I could go there and play for them.”

As far as his fit, Murphy is intrigued by Kentucky’s talent on the offensive side of the ball.

“They’ve got quarterbacks that can throw the ball,” he said. “They’ve got good wide receivers.
