During a quarterback competition, it can sometimes feel like there are too many cooks in the kitchen. That may be how Brock Vandagriff<\/a> is feeling about the battle going on down in Athens based on his latest comments.<\/p>\n

Vandagriff spoke<\/a> about Georgia\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> QB competition following their G-Day Spring Game<\/a> this weekend. At this moment, he says he doesn\u2019t know what his future holds besides prayer on the matter and a desire to take it one day at a time.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/span>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure,\u201d Vandagriff said<\/a>. \u201cI guess there\u2019s some praying to do<\/a>. But my plans, for now, are to just take it day by day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vandagriff is giving all that he can in the race alongside Carson Beck<\/a> as well as Gunner Stockton<\/a>. Still, this weekend seemed to end up<\/a> as another feather in Beck\u2019s cap as the apparent leader for the gig. In the spring game<\/a>, Vandgriff completed 13\/25 passes for 175 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Beck, though, tossed for 231 yards and a touchdown as he went 18\/22.<\/p>\n

Vandagriff was the highest-rated of all the Georgia quarterbacks in On3\u2019s Industry Rankings<\/a>. He was ranked as a five-star prospect in the 2021 class<\/a> as a Top-25 player overall and a Top-5 quarterback<\/a>. The long story short is that, if he elected to move on from Athens, he would have his fair share of suitors.<\/p>\n

Still, there\u2019s no guarantee of that at the moment as he may wish to still stick around and compete for the job<\/a> at his home state\u2019s school. If nothing else, it just sounds as though all options are on the table for Vandagriff as we move out of the spring practice period.<\/p>\n

Smart excited by what he\u2019s seen from Georgia this spring<\/h2>\n

Kirby Smart<\/a>\u00a0is feeling the good vibes following\u00a0Georgia\u2019s\u00a0spring game over the weekend.<\/p>\n

As the Bulldogs begin their quest for a three-peat, Smart\u2019s team isn\u2019t letting all their success go to their head. Speaking with the media on Saturday, the Georgia leader explained why he\u2019s enthusiastic regarding the Bulldogs\u2019 performance over the last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited. I\u2019ve always said, you know we\u2019re built to sustain here, and that\u2019s my motto,\u201d\u00a0started Smart<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re not trying to be a one-hit wonder. We put a really good football team out there each year, and we\u2019re well on our way to doing that this time. We\u2019ve probably got the most cohesive unit we\u2019ve had, in terms of the guys love being with each other, they like practicing hard. I mean, we had 14 of the 15 days, I really thought we had good practices. That includes today.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really pleased with their work ethic. So they like practicing. They like football. When people come to your practices and they visited seven other schools and they say, \u2018Man, y\u2019all get after it. Man, your guys are hard. Man, your guys buy in and have fun.\u2019 It makes me feel better that our kids enjoy it.\u201d<\/p>\n
