Notre Dame\u2019s two basketball programs had a combined 13 players land on their respective ACC All-Academic teams Thursday. The men\u2019s team had six honorees, tied for the most in the league, and the women had seven.<\/p>\n
Freshman guard JJ Starling<\/a><\/strong>, freshman forward Ven-Allen Lubin<\/a><\/strong>, grad student forward Nate Laszewski<\/a><\/strong> (business analytics), grad student guard Cormac Ryan<\/a><\/strong> (strategy), grad student guard Marcus Hammond<\/strong> (nonprofit administration) and grad student guard Trey Wertz<\/strong> (business analytics) were the men\u2019s honorees. This year is Ryan and Laszewski\u2019s second appearance on the all-academic team.<\/p>\n Lubin is the only one of those six on the Irish\u2019s 2023-24 roster. Starling transferred to Syracuse, and the others are out of eligibility.<\/p>\n Grad student guard Jenna Brown<\/strong> (non-degree seeking), sophomore guard Sonia Citron<\/strong> (management consulting), grad student forward Lauren Ebo<\/strong> (management), grad student guard Dara Mabrey<\/strong> (nonprofit administration), junior forward Nat Marshall<\/strong> (political science), sophomore guard Olivia Miles<\/strong> (political science) and junior forward Kylee Watson<\/strong> (film, television, theater) were the women\u2019s all-academic selections.<\/p>\n This year is Mabrey\u2019s fifth on the ACC All-Academic team.
