Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star running back Nathaniel Frazier<\/a><\/strong> made his first trip to Tennessee<\/a><\/strong> on Tuesday. He shared pictures from the visit on Twitter. <\/p>\n

Frazier is the No. 117 overall prospect and No. 8 running back in the 2024 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/strong><\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.\u00a0He is also the No. 16 player in California.<\/p>\n

On3 rates Frazier higher than other recruiting services, according to the\u00a0Industry Comparison<\/a>. Per the\u00a02024 On300<\/a><\/strong>, he is the\u00a0No. 49 overall prospect, No. 4 running back and No. 3 player in California.<\/p>\n

The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder holds several Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine<\/a> currently has USC as the favorite to land a commitment from Frazier at 35.7%.<\/p>\n

The visit to Tennessee was the second visit of the spring for Frazier as he visited Nebraska on March 25. He\u2019s set to visit Alabama on April 16.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlvin Kamara<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0went there and he is a dog,\u201d Frazier told On3 ahead of the Tennessee<\/a> visit. \u201cHe is great in the NFL and I like that he played there. Coach\u00a0(Josh) Heupel<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is a great coach and from the calls we have had, I can tell he is a driven coach with a great personality. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe pours his heart out for his players, so I am excited about meeting him. Coach\u00a0Jerry Mack<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is cool too. I like the drills he works with his running backs on and it translates to the field.\u201d<\/p>\n

Frazier currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $91K<\/a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry\u2019s leading index that sets high school and college athletes\u2019 projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete\u2019s value at a certain moment in time.<\/p>\n

Tennessee winning on the recruiting trail<\/h2>\n

After signing 25 players in the 2023 recruiting cycle<\/a> and finishing with the No. 13 class in the country, Tennessee is off to hot start building its 2024 class.<\/p>\n

The Vols currently sit with eight commitments<\/a> including five four-star prospects. Their class ranks as the No. 7 class in the country and the No. 4 class in the SEC.<\/p>\n

Tennessee\u2019s five four-star commitments are Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day School quarterback Jake Merklinger<\/strong><\/a>, IMG Academy tight end Jonathan Echols<\/strong><\/a>, Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy cornerback Kaleb Beasley<\/a><\/strong>, Sardis (Miss.) North Panola wide receiver JJ Harrell<\/a><\/strong> and Cleveland (Tenn.) Bradley Central safety Marcus Goree<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

They also hold commitments from Fort Collins (Colo.) Fossil Ridge three-star offensive tackle Gage Ginther<\/strong><\/a>, Chattanooga (Tenn.) McCallie three-star defensive lineman Carson Gentle<\/a><\/strong> and Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Middle Tennessee Christian School three-star offensive tackle Jesse Perry<\/a><\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n
