It has been a good few days for Ohio State<\/a><\/strong>. After landing a commitment from San Antonio (Texas) Veterans Memorial four-star running back\u00a0James Peoples<\/a><\/strong> on April 2, the Buckeyes got another one 48 hours later from New Haven (Ind.) five-star wide receiver\u00a0Mylan Graham<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Graham\u2019s pledge elevated the Buckeyes\u2019 2024 recruiting class<\/a>\u00a0to No. 2 in the\u00a02024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings<\/a><\/strong>. Ohio State\u2019s group, which also ranks\u00a0No. 1 in the Big Ten<\/a><\/strong>, rose one spot from No. 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can feel that\u00a0coach (Brian) Hartline<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0really wants me to be one of his guys in the \u201924 class,\u201d\u00a0Graham told Matt Parker of Lettermen Row<\/a>\u00a0on Sept. 16. \u201cI\u2019ve built a relationship with\u00a0coach (Ryan) Day<\/a><\/strong>, other recruiting people and player personnel people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Graham is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the\u00a0On3 Industry Ranking<\/strong><\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Indiana.<\/p>\n

\u201cI understand the game a lot,\u201d Graham told Kyle Kelly of Blue and Gold<\/a>\u00a0on March 3. \u201cI think my greatest ability is my YAC ability, yards after the catch. When I get the ball in my hands, I\u2019m dynamic with it. I get in and out of breaks fast, good footwork. I attack the ball and I always win one-on-one matchups.\u201d <\/p>\n

Graham gives Ohio State another massive recruiting win <\/h2>\n

Landing Graham marks a big victory for Day and his staff, and not just because he is one of the best players in the country. The 6-foot-0.5, 170-pound wideout gives Ohio State commitments from two top-15 wideouts, as Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep\u00a0Five-Star Plus+<\/a>\u00a0wide receiver\u00a0Jeremiah Smith<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0chose the Buckeyes on Dec. 14. <\/p>\n

Other players pledged to the Buckeyes include Peoples, New Palestine (Ind.) four-star interior offensive lineman\u00a0Ian Moore<\/a><\/strong>, Sunbury (Ohio) Big Walnut four-star linebacker\u00a0Garrett Stover<\/a><\/strong> and Toledo (Ohio) Central Catholic three-star interior offensive lineman\u00a0Marc Nave<\/a><\/strong>. Meanwhile, Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward four-star offensive tackle\u00a0Deontae Armstrong<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward four-star offensive tackle\u00a0Devontae Armstrong<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0chose Ohio State on March 27.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Following Graham\u2019s commitment, Day and Co. are still after many talented targets, including Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback\u00a0Air Noland<\/a><\/strong>. According to the\u00a0On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine<\/a><\/strong>, Ohio State has a commanding lead for Noland at 84.2%.<\/p>\n
