Deion Sanders<\/a><\/strong> and Colorado<\/a><\/strong> are now fully immersed in the Pac-12 schedule after a Week 6 win against Arizona State<\/a><\/strong>, 27-24, due in large part to more late heroics by Shedeur Sanders<\/a><\/strong>. The Buffaloes now turn their attention to Stanford<\/a><\/strong>, and the early point spread is out.<\/p>\n

Colorado is a 9.5-point favorite over Stanford, according to FanDuel<\/a>. The over-under is set at 64.5.<\/p>\n

Colorado has been the talk of the college football world this season since Coach Prime took over the program. The Buffs started the year 3-0, but suffered back-to-back losses against Oregon<\/a><\/strong> and USC<\/a><\/strong> before squaring off against Arizona State. <\/p>\n

Sanders offered some mixed feelings on the amount of attention<\/a><\/strong> his program has gotten since he took over in December.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s all love. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s all love. You haven\u2019t checked the responses from the coaches that we\u2019re participating against,\u201d Sanders said<\/a>. \u201cBut we\u2019re excited, truly, with the attention that\u2019s warranted to this wonder, beautiful university. I\u2019m excited and elated to be the coach here. I\u2019m excited to really talk about the wonderful attributes that we possess. The young men, they don\u2019t see it because they\u2019re in it. Often times, we can step a foot out of it, and we see it from another viewpoint, and a vantage point. They don\u2019t see it, and they\u2019re so young. I didn\u2019t see it either, when I was in college or early in my pro career. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m happy and thankful that we\u2019re a voice of hope. Just desire and want, I think that\u2019s the thing that\u2019s touching souls around the country. That person that no one believes in, that person that no one desires, that person that\u2019s stepped over, stepped by and stepped past. We represent that person.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stanford is heading into the game against Colorado off its bye week. The Cardinal won their first game of the year against Hawaii<\/a><\/strong>, but have lost four straight since \u2014 including a close, 21-20 loss to Arizona<\/a><\/strong> on Sept. 23. Last week, Stanford fell to Oregon 42-6 to drop to 1-4.<\/p>\n

It hasn\u2019t been an ideal start to Troy Taylor\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> tenure as head coach. The Cardinal rank toward the bottom of the Pac-12 in both total offense and total defense, meaning there\u2019s an opportunity for Colorado to continue its quest for bowl eligibility. That would be quite an accomplishment for Sanders\u2019 group considering the over-under win total was set at just 3.5 prior to the season opener.<\/p>\n

Kickoff between Colorado and Stanford is set for Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.<\/p>\n
