Husker legacy Jack Limbaugh<\/a><\/strong> from Algona (Iowa) was in Lincoln for his first Nebraska<\/a> game. Limbaugh is one of Nebraska\u2019s top 2025 targets. The talented Edge recruit can see a defense that he could be successful in and says it looks like he could be back in Lincoln again later this season for a second game-day visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was my first ever Husker game,\u201d Limbaugh said. \u201cIt was pretty cool to be a recruit for my first-ever game at Nebraska.\u201d<\/p>\n

There were some things that Limbaugh was looking forward to seeing on his first trip to Nebraska. He loved the crowd noise and how tuned into the game the fans were.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted just to experience the whole game day atmosphere and see the environment. Memorial Stadium has to be one of the loudest stadiums I have ever visited! The fans are so knowledgeable about the game, like knowing when to cheer; it was awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

Limbaugh kept a close eye on the defense. The Blackshirts have played well this season, and Limbaugh saw a physical style of defense that he felt he could be a part of.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really like the physicality the defense plays with,\u201d Limbaugh said. \u201cAnd I think that fits my style of play.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the game, Limbaugh returned to the locker room and celebrated the win with the team. The post-game experience was one of the most memorable parts of Limbaugh\u2019s visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe locker room after the game was so cool. Being able to experience the post-game atmosphere with the guys was amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Limbaugh attended the big rivalry game for the two in-state schools two weeks ago. He plans to visit Iowa and possibly return to Nebraska for the last home game of the season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was at the Cy-Hawk game a couple of weeks ago,\u201d Limbaugh said. \u201cNext week, I plan on attending the Iowa \u2013 Michigan State game in Iowa City. I am hoping to possibly get back for the Iowa game at the end of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
