Penn State got a major win on the field Saturday night, shutting out Iowa in decisive fashion, 31-0. Statistically, the Nittany Lions won in just about every metric, totaling 397 yards while holding the Hawkeyes to just 76. <\/p>\n
But tonight\u2019s atmosphere will likely help James Franklin and his staff for years to come, as well over 100 prospects were in attendance Saturday night. The list included two top 2024 targets in four-star prospects Jaylen Harvey<\/a><\/strong> and Ernest Willor<\/a><\/strong>. The nation\u2019s No. 1 ranked player in the Class of 2025 was also in attendance in quarterback Bryce Underwood<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n We\u2019ll have in-depth interviews with many of the top prospects in the coming days. Below are some of the early recruit reactions from the recruits in attendance.<\/p>\n DL De\u2019Andre Cook <\/a><\/strong>\u2013 I really enjoyed it. The weather did make it a little uncomfortable but other than that I really enjoyed the game, especially seeing what Deion [Barnes\u2019]<\/a><\/strong> D-line can do live.<\/p>\n DL Eagan Boyer<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It was great to finally be in the stadium with fans in it. It\u2019s an awesome environment and it was nice to be there without worrying about being on a recruiting trip. Gets me excited about being here in January.<\/p>\n DL Ernest Willor<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It was great. The stadium was literally shaking. I also love how Penn State defended Iowa\u2019s 32 personnel packages.<\/p>\n TE Linkon Cure<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 The fans and atmosphere were absolutely amazing. The team dominated and that only made it better. I have never seen anything like that. It was very cool to be around. The whole process was a lot of fun and it definitely made the traveling worth it.<\/p>\n LB Brett Clatterbaugh<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It\u2019s an environment like no other. The play tonight was fast and relentless.<\/p>\n CB Jordan Thomas<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It was an amazing atmosphere. The stadium was electrifying! The White Out Game was an extremely exciting game to attend.<\/p>\n TE Brady O\u2019Hara<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 Being here for the White Out game was an absolutely amazing experience! The energy hits you as soon as you walk in, and it was so cool to walk out onto the field and feel the crowd. It was great to see many of the coaches tonight. They came up to me and gave me a hug or a handshake and it just feels like a family atmosphere. My favorite part of the night was being in the locker room talking to the other TEs and learning more about what it\u2019s like to be an Ace.<\/p>\n RB Isaiah West<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 The White Out game never disappoints. Great atmosphere and some of the best fans. The O-line was dominating all night and as a running back that\u2019s always great to see.<\/p>\n RB Marquise Davis<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 I like Penn State a lot and they are pretty high on my list. The atmosphere at the White Out was amazing; very, very loud and electrifying. The running backs showed why they were ranked so high and the coaching staff made me feel comfortable. Coach Franklin is maybe one of the coolest head coaches I know.<\/p>\n WR Emmanuel Dyson<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 I really enjoyed tonight. I met fellow recruits and chopped it up with them. The crowd at Penn State is amazing and nothing like I\u2019ve ever seen before. They\u2019re definitely top 1 or 2 in the country. I loved the game tonight, and also got to see one of my favorite receivers in college football, KeAndre Lambert-Smith, go off.<\/p>\n DL Brendan Alexander<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 The atmosphere was what you expect, the best! I loved the fans showing love to the recruits. [They have] amazing facilities. The coaches and staff made it feel like home for me. We Are!!<\/p>\n WR Jaylen Pile <\/a><\/strong>\u2013 What stood out to me was the crazy atmosphere, the loud fans and the way Penn State came out fired up for the White Out game. The coaching staff really had them prepared. This is my second time visiting campus but my first game.<\/p>\n Saf. Marcello Viti <\/a><\/strong>\u2013 Best game I have been to so far. My ears are still ringing. The atmosphere was great. I was impressed that the crowd stayed until the end even though it was raining and the game was over by the 4th quarter. I will definitely be back.<\/p>\n QB Matt Zollers<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It was a crazy experience. The atmosphere with the fans was electric. I got to speak with Coach Franklin and Coach Yurcich, which was a plus. It was just really great to be back up here and then PSU also played very well on offense and had a shutout. So I had a very good experience down here.<\/p>\n WR Ziyyon Bredell <\/a><\/strong>\u2013 They play together as a team. Their brotherhood is different. The atmosphere is amazing.<\/p>\n DE Grayson Gilmore<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 The game was great! It really lived up to the hype. The atmosphere and fans were electric. The biggest thing that stood out to me was how the defense played, especially Chop.<\/p>\n DE Alex Haskell<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 It was definitely special.
