Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton 2025 four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley<\/a><\/strong> made his way to Athens on Saturday for Georgia\u2019s season opener.<\/p>\n

He left with Georgia high on his board still. On3\u2019s Recruiting Prediction Machine<\/a> has Georgia as Wiley\u2019s favorite. The Bulldogs currently have a 37 percent chance of landing the No. 191 overall prospect in the On3 rankings for the class of 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wiley wouldn\u2019t go as far as making Georgia his clear favorite at the moment. Wiley is very much in evaluation mode in his recruitment. But the Bulldogs have the attention of the four-star pass catcher from Alpharetta. <\/p>\n

\u201cGeorgia is on my radar,\u201d Wiley said.<\/p>\n

Multiple facets of Georgia stand out to CJ Wiley<\/h2>\n

Wiley took note of Georgia\u2019s play on the field on Saturday night. He acknowledged the slow start. It was Georgia\u2019s slow start that made their second-half surge a point of impression on the 6-foot-4, 190-pound wideout. <\/p>\n

Wiley felt Georgia\u2019s staff provided another example of their ability to adjust and move the needle to take things up a level when need be.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat stood out to me was they didn\u2019t really have a good first half but came back in the second and put on a show,\u201d Wiley said. \u201cIt caught my attention because they got together as a team at halftime and fixed the pieces they were missing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Georgia\u2019s atmosphere was a plus as well. The Bulldogs had the rare opportunity to host a night game on Saturday which meant lighting up Sanford. That experience is one Wiley is high on. Wiley was also impressed by the amount of red surrounding Dooley Field on Saturday. The Bulldogs\u2019 opener drew another 92K plus as the back-to-back national champions opened their title defense. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a good night game it was loud and red everywhere,\u201d Wiley said.<\/p>\n

Georgia\u2019s coaching staff has been in contact with Wiley a lot as of late. They added another chapter to their relationship on Saturday. Wiley was able to briefly speak with Georgia wide receiver coach Bryan McClendon<\/a><\/strong> on Saturday. <\/p>\n

The message was short.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talked to coach B-Mac (McClendon) he said he it was good to see me,\u201d Wiley recalled. <\/p>\n

2023 season prediction<\/h2>\n

Wiley feels Georgia is in a good spot once again to make a run at the national championship. The Bulldogs entered 2023 after back-to-back national championships. <\/p>\n
