The junior DT will be out \u201ca couple weeks\u201d with a knee injury, per Freeman.<\/p>\n<p>Bowen\u2019s absence was not known. Notre Dame did not disclose the nature or extent of Bowen\u2019s injury in its release.<\/p>\n<p>The Fighting Irish face Tennessee State in their home opener Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Notre Dame Stadium on NBC. There is no point spread for the game.
