2024 Ohio QB visiting<\/h2>\n

Michigan State will welcome a class of 2024 quarterback to campus in Ethan Grunkemeyer<\/a><\/strong> of Lewis Center (OH) Olentangy High. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback does not hold a Spartan offer yet, but does hold offers from Western Michigan, Miami (OH), Liberty, Central Michigan, and more. He is not yet ranked by the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

New 2025 offer<\/h2>\n

Michigan State extended an offer to class of 2025 tight end Ryan Ghea<\/a><\/strong> of Milton (GA). The Spartans signed class of 2022 tight end Jack Nickel<\/strong><\/a> out of Milton and are also recruiting his younger brother, quarterback Luke Nickel<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ghea is listed at 6-foot-5, 228-pounds. He holds offers from Tennessee, Florida State, Ohio State, Auburn, and more. He is not yet ranked by the 2025 Industry Rankings<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

Four-star OT talks visit<\/h2>\n

Michigan State offered Mukwonago (WI) High School four-star offensive lineman\u00a0Nathan Roy<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in January 2023. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound tackle holds offers from\u00a0Iowa<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Penn State<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Miami<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Oklahoma<\/a><\/strong>, and more. Roy\u00a0released a top list of seven<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0schools on Feb. 16, including\u00a0Michigan State<\/strong>,\u00a0Minnesota<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0UCLA<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0USC<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Tennessee<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Ohio State<\/a><\/strong>, and\u00a0Wisconsin<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The four-star offensive lineman made his first trip to East Lansing on March 28. Roy met with head coach\u00a0Mel Tucker\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>before Tuesday\u2019s spring practice.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got to go and walk around campus and see where all the major stuff like dorms and apartments are,\u201d Roy said. \u201cI was pretty blown away. I thought it looked really nice. East Lansing is a pretty big campus and I like the way the stuff is laid out. They have a river that runs right through the entire campus, that was different.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the\u00a02024 On3 Industry Rankings<\/a><\/strong>, Roy is ranked a four-star, the No. 275 overall recruit, the No. 20 offensive tackle, and the No. 3 recruit in Wisconsin. On3 rates Roy much higher than other recruiting services, according to the\u00a0Industry Comparison<\/strong><\/a>. Per the\u00a02024 On300<\/a><\/strong>, he is the No. 69 overall prospect, No. 7 offensive tackle and No. 1 player in Wisconsin<\/p>\n
