Michigan State is set to host four-star, class of 2025 shooting guard Davion Hannah<\/a><\/strong>, of Glendale (WI) Nicolet High School on September 1. He tells SpartanMag.com it will be an official visit, the only one scheduled as of now. Michigan State will host Central Michigan on Friday (Sept. 1) evening, the Spartan 2023 season opener. <\/p>\n

Hannah (6-5, 180), is currently ranked the No. 42 overall recruit by the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings. He is also ranked the No. 13 shooting guard, and the No. 1 recruit in Wisconsin. The four-star holds offers from Wisconsin, Marquette, Iowa, Cincinnati, LSU, Oregon, and more. Michigan State has not offered yet. Hannah has also been in touch with Kentucky, along with others who have not extended offers yet. He tells SpartanMag.com he is looking to set an official visit to Arizona State for the fall. <\/p>\n

The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 13.7 points on Nike\u2019s EYBL 16u Circuit this summer. He also averaged 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game with his Mac Irvin team.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like to move up and down the court fast, play fast,\u201d Hannah told On3<\/a><\/strong>. \u201cThat\u2019s how I like to play. That\u2019s where I\u2019m most comfortable, playing fast. Also, teams that have a lot of ball screens. I love ball screens and standard screens.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can improve everything really,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I\u2019m mainly [focused on improving] my ball handling, shooting, and recognizing how the defense is playing me.\u201d<\/p>\n

His brother,\u00a0Darius Hannah<\/a><\/strong>, plays basketball at\u00a0Bradley<\/strong>. The 6-foot-8 forward is entering his senior season. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.3 rebounds in 12 starts last season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMy brother has been a big help. He\u2019s been in my ear, letting me know that college ball is more aggressive and so much faster. If you really want to succeed in college, you have to put in that work when no one else is. He always tells me I got to fall in love with that weight room.\u201d<\/p>\n
