He also said there was never a legal adoption and instead, was forced to sign papers for a conservatorship.<\/p>\n<p>Current Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze commented on the situation during his Thursday press conference. Freeze was at Ole Miss while Oher was playing for the Rebels, helping recruit him to Oxford. He called it \u201csad\u201d and said there is a story because the Tuohys decided to take Oher in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s sad,\u201d Freeze <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Matt_Cohen_\/status\/1692269803577434622?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> via Matt Cohen of AL.com. \u201cI know what I witnessed.
