2025 Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie defensive tackle\u00a0Brandon Brown<\/a><\/strong> took in his first LSU<\/a> visit during the open period for visits last week<\/a>. The Tigers impressed the 6-2, 275-pound defensive lineman, who blew up this spring and offseason.<\/p>\n

\u201cLove it. Elite facilities. Loved to feeing I got. It was a good visit,\u201d Brown told On3. \u201cIt just felt good. Enjoyed my time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Outside linebackers coach John Jancek and defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey both spent ample time with him. The groundwork is laid for the Tigers to be a factor in the four-star prospect\u2019s recruitment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conversation was good,\u201d Brown said. \u201cHe just said that I\u2019m a priority and that they want me on campus as much as possible. The campus was a place I could see myself at. I loved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown was on a big tear of visits during the open recruiting period, also seeing Georgia and Florida State after Baton Rouge. Florida, Miami, Texas A&M, UCF, Indiana and Cincinnati also hosted him this summer.<\/p>\n

This offseason, he worked on being a better teammate and his overall strength and size.<\/p>\n

Brown ranks as the nation\u2019s No. 166 overall prospect and No. 19 defensive lineman per the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.<\/p>\n

Brown\u2019s uncle,\u00a0Joe Cohen<\/strong>, played in the NFL for a couple years in the 2000s after a career with the Florida Gators. Miami leads the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine<\/a> early on.<\/p>\n
