But coming off his successful visit to Notre Dame Sunday, I’m logging a pick for Atlanta Woodward Academy’s Jerome Bettis Jr., the No. 402 overall player and No. 58 wide receiver per the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking.

He’s obviously the son of Notre Dame legend Jerome Bettis Sr., and it’d be hard for the Irish not to go after his kid if he’s at the Power Five talent, which he easily is. From what I’ve heard from Notre Dame sources about Bettis, they really are high on him as a prospect. He’s a three-star prospect right now, but the 6-3, 185-pounder has great size, athleticism and is in store for a big junior season.

Bettis tells me that he’s still not looking to commit any time soon. He’s planning on making a decision after his junior season. But whether it’s tomorrow or in January, my read is that it’ll likely be Notre Dame. Bettis doesn’t seem like he’s set on blazing his own path; he really likes Notre Dame based on his own experiences with the university.

Georgia Tech, Arkansas, Texas A&M, UCF, N.C. State, Missouri and Boston College are among Bettis’ other scholarship offers.

*** Nashville (Tenn.) Lipscomb Academy’s Deuce Knight, the No. 59 overall player and No. 4 quarterback per the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, has been predicted by another outlet to end up at Notre Dame. I like the pick, and it’s not farfetched, but it’s bold at this point.

I’ve reported previously on the quarterback dominos that can take place, with various schools preferring one signal-caller most, and for Tennessee, George MacIntyre looks like the top guy for the Volunteers. If Tennessee does land MacIntyre, then Notre Dame will look really good to land Knight. But even if they don’t, the Irish making him the top priority from beginning might make a big difference.

Knight may actually prefer Tennessee at this point from what I gather as he’s enjoying the recruiting process, but multiple sources I’ve talked with believe his parents prefer the Fighting Irish. Knight is expected to visit Notre Dame for either the Ohio State or USC game, and the hope is that he’ll pop in favor of the Irish after that trip. We’re still seven or eight weeks from the earliest date he could commit in my estimation. Ole Miss can’t be counted out for Knight either.

The post Lucky Charms: New prediction logged for Notre Dame football recruiting appeared first on On3.

Here are today’s Lucky Charms, a Monday-Thursday nightly insider notes article on Notre Dame football…

[1

post-12471","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
