But expectations remain high in Green Bay as the transition to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/db\/jordan-love-65676\/\">Jordan Love<\/a><\/strong> begins.<\/p>\n<p>How high? Well, anything short of the playoffs is usually a considerable disappointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing a Green Bay Packer, there\u2019s always very high expectations from the organization, from the guys who\u2019ve been here before,\u201d quarterback Jordan Love said Saturday on the NFL Network. \u201cNothing changes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Love will be taking over for Rodgers, and suffice it to say he\u2019ll have his work cut out for him.<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers threw for more than 59,000 yards with 475 touchdowns in his 18 seasons in Green Bay before departing. He was a four-time league MVP, a four-time first-team All-Pro and a 10-time Pro Bowler.<\/p>\n<p>He did it all.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Love\u2019s experience, by comparison, is shockingly thin. The Green Bay Packers drafted Love in the first round in 2020 out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/utah-state-aggies\/\"><strong>Utah State<\/strong><\/a>, making him the heir apparent to Rodgers.<\/p>\n<p>The former Utah State star has appeared in 10 career games in two years, making just one start. He\u2019s 50-of-83 passing for 606 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions. He\u2019s not much of a running threat.<\/p>\n<p>Those expectations? Jordan Love is doing his best not to let them weigh on him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have a young team but I look at it as a fresh start, fresh start for everybody to kind of go out there and make a name for themselves and become the player they want to be,\u201d Jordan Love said. \u201cBut the expectations are still high. Nothing\u2019s changing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Green Bay went 8-9 in 2022, missing the playoffs for the first time in four years.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers made the playoffs 11 times in the 14 seasons Rogers was a full-time starter prior to last season. The organization reached six conference title games under Rodgers\u2019 leadership and won a Super Bowl during the 2010 season.<\/p>\n<p>So yeah, expectations are going to be high for Jordan Love and the Packers going into a new era.
