Belleville (Mich.) quarterback Bryce Underwood<\/a><\/strong> was named the country\u2019s No. 1 overall prospect by On3 back in March. Now, that honor extends to the On3 Industry Ranking<\/a> \u2014 a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting services.<\/p>\n

After rankings changes across the industry, Underwood jumped three spots to No. 1 overall on the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also a Five-Star Plus+ prospect now, the rare recruit the garners 5-star status by all four recruiting services.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Underwood remained uncommitted and continues to visit powerhouse programs around the country. He has visited in-state Michigan and Michigan State more than any other school, with Ohio State not far behind.<\/p>\n

\u201cMichigan<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0has really done an excellent job here early,\u201d On3<\/strong> Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons wrote in May<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cBryce Underwood<\/strong>\u00a0has visited Ann Arbor more than any other school and he and his family have connected quickly with new quarterback coach\u00a0Kirk Campbell<\/a><\/strong>. There is comfort at Michigan for Underwood. He knows people there, he likes what the program is about, and although it is very early, the in-state program looks to be in a favorable spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cOhio State<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is coming on strong. He has visited Columbus a couple of times and we know\u00a0Ryan Day<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Corey Dennis<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0will land a top quarterback each cycle. The offense, the weapons he would have to work with and the development have Underwood\u2019s attention. Other schools on his radar are\u00a0LSU<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Michigan State<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Penn State<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0USC<\/a><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Underwood currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $435K<\/a>. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry\u2019s leading index that sets high school and college athletes\u2019 projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete\u2019s value at a certain moment in time.<\/p>\n

Michigan leads in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM)<\/a> with a 36.1% chance to land Underwood\u2019s commitment. Not far behind are Michigan State at 19.9% and Ohio State at 10.4%.<\/p>\n
