With his recruitment beginning to take shape, 2025 receiver Jayvan Boggs<\/a><\/strong> of Cocoa (Fla.) said Sunday three schools stand out at the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s really no favorite right now but Penn State, Ohio State and Florida lead the way for me,\u201d Boggs told Gators Online. \u201cIt\u2019s very close between them three schools.\u201d<\/p>\n

Boggs, listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, is unrated at this time but holds offers from those three programs \u2014 along with several others. The Gators offered when he camped in Gainesville this June at Friday Night Lights.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I talked to them after the camp, they said they loved my acceleration, my shiftiness, my size, that I\u2019m quick and they love my hands. My hands and my consistency,\u201d Boggs said.<\/p>\n

Boggs spoke with Florida coach Billy Napier that evening.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a great person,\u201d Boggs said. \u201cHe\u2019s a real straight up guy. He kept it real with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since that event, Boggs has kept in touch with assistant receivers coach David Doeker.<\/p>\n

\u201cI talk to Coach Doeker almost like every week to be honest,\u201d Boggs said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got a great relationship building.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jayvan Boggs<\/a><\/strong> had a big sophomore season<\/h2>\n

Boggs, who had 41 catches for 722 yards and six touchdowns last season, also visited Ohio State in June. He spent two days there and camped for the Buckeyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was great,\u201d he said. \u201cEverything was great. The atmosphere \u2014 and all the coaches. They were very welcoming. They were all pretty amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, Boggs plans to be back in Gainesville this coming Saturday for the Gators\u2019 Grill in the Ville event.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUF was great, but I didn\u2019t really get to see everything the last time,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was right after Friday Night Lights camp. It was late, but I\u2019ll be getting up there this time to see everything. I really just want to see all the facilities, the locker rooms, the campus and everything. It\u2019s very important to me. I want to see the relationships they\u2019re building.\u201d<\/p>\n

Boggs is friends with Florida freshman offensive lineman Bryce Lovett, another Space Coast product.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said he loves it there,\u201d Boggs said. <\/p>\n

For Boggs, more visits likely will come in the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll definitely be back for a game,\u201d Boggs said. \u201cI just don\u2019t know which one yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
