Four-star wide receiver Tawaski Abrams<\/a> of Fort Myers (FL) Dunbar High flipped his commitment from Florida State to Florida Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The 5-foot-10, 190 pounder had been committed to the Seminoles since January.<\/p>\n

Abrams on why he chose Florida<\/h2>\n

\u201cJust the feeling I got from being there,\u201d Abrams said. \u201cIt felt like the right place for me from the field to the classroom. Touring the facilities, getting to see that this place is really at the top when it comes to producing and creating great players let me know this is where I wanna be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCoach Billy G and coach Deck,\u201d Abrams said. \u201cI have really been chopping it up with them guys since the day I got the offer. Then just been really filling me in on how I can improve the offense and using my speed to not only better myself, but the team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Abrams ranks as the No. 263 player in the On3 Industry Ranking<\/a>, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 46 wide receiver and the No. 37 player in the state of Florida.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine State wide receiver joins coach Billy Napier and the Gators\u2019 top 5 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star quarterback DJ Lagway, five-star safety Xavier Filsaime, and others.<\/p>\n

Abrams currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $72K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry\u2019s leading index that sets high school and college athletes\u2019 projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete\u2019s value at a certain moment in time.<\/p>\n
