Wolverines in the NFL: Aidan Hutchinson, Graham Glasgow dominant in overtime win
In one of the most exciting games of Week 1 in the NFL, two former Michigan Wolverines football standouts started and put together impressive performances for the Detroit Lions in a 26-20 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Left guard Graham Glasgow and the offensive line paved the way for an epic overtime drive that sent the Rams home without even possessing the ball in the extra period. In front of 66,530 excited fans at Ford Field, Detroit ran the ball 7 times for 57 yards, capped off by a 1-yard touchdown by back David Montgomery, on the overtime drive.
The offensive line full of “super dads” was even featured on the ‘Today Show’ the following morning.
The Lions’ defense came out hot, allowing only 3 first-half points, before the Rams got going in the second half. Former Michigan defensive end Aidan Hutchinson — a Pro Bowler last season — led the charge with a Week 1 NFL best 11 pressures to go along with his 1 sack, 5 tackles and 1 stop for loss.
Hutchinson’s sack came on the final play of regulation to make sure the game went to overtime.

Erick All (played at Michigan from 2019-21), TE, Cincinnati Bengals

Devin Bush (2016-18), LB, Cleveland Browns
The former Michigan All-American came off the bench, playing 22 snaps on special teams and 6 on defense, posting 2 tackles in a 33-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
Zach Charbonnet (2019-20), RB, Seattle Seahawks
Rushed 8 times for 12 yards and caught 2 passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in a 26-20 win ove the Denver Broncos …. His score marked his second total touchdown and first receiving touchdown of his career.
Nico Collins (2017-19), WR, Houston Texans
Targeted 8 times, hauling in 6 catches for 117 yards with a 55-yard long in a 29-27 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Junior Colson (2021-23), LB, Los Angeles Chargers
The former Michigan linebacker had 1 pass breakup and 4 tackles in a 22-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, marking his NFL debut … He played 35 snaps on defense and 12 on special teams, rotating in at linebacker by series.
