Wolverine TV: Which recruits can Michigan close with during June official visits?

The Wolverine’s EJ Holland discussed several Michigan recruiting topics on the Tuesday edition of The Wolverine Live recruiting show, including June official visit season, which will see a number of top targets make their way to Ann Arbor.

Watch and listen to Holland share the latest on U-M recruiting below.

Holland offered up four-star Chicago (Ill.) Kenwood wide receiver I’Marion Stewart as a potential summer commit. Stewart is set to make his official visit to Michigan on June 16.

Here is what Holland had to say about Stewart’s recruitment.

“The guy that comes to mind right away is I’Marion Stewart,” Holland said. “He’s been a long-time Michigan lean. I think he’s a candidate to jump onboard. He told me he wants to make a decision at the end of June.”

At 6-foot, 177 pounds, Stewart is ranked as the No. 56 wide receiver and No. 352 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 7 overall recruit in the state of Illinois.

Stewart has an On3 NIL Valuation of $43K with 11.5K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Michigan has 15 commits in its 2024 recruiting class — Top 100 Rochester (Mich.) Adams tight end Brady Prieskorn, Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis, Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller running back Jordan Marshall, On300 Harper Woods (Mich.) High defensive back Jacob Oden, On300 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth linebacker Mason Curtis, On300 Bellevue (Wash.) High tight end Hogan Hansen, On300 Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive tackle Blake Frazier, On300 Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, four-star Cheshire (Conn.) Academy defensive lineman Jerod Smith, four-star Avon (Ohio) High offensive lineman Luke Hamilton, three-star Cincinnati (Ohio) St. Xavier defensive lineman Ted Hammond, three-star Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall defensive lineman Manuel Beigel, three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Ben Roebuck, three-star Ponte Vedra (Fla.) High offensive lineman Jake Guarnera and three-star South Park (Pa.) High linebacker Zach Ludwig.

The class is currently ranked No. 5 nationally in the On3 industry rankings and No. 2 in the Big Ten behind Ohio State.
