Who the Kentucky MBB staff has contacted in the transfer portal
Kentucky is still alive in the NCAA Tournament, but the portal waits for no one. The college basketball transfer portal officially opened on Monday and Division I players have been jumping in like never seen before. Over 700 names were entered into the portal just on Monday alone. Don’t expect it to slow down anytime soon either, especially with 16 teams still playing in the postseason.
Despite the ongoing season, Kentucky coaches can’t afford to not spend at least some energy on the portal. The main focus is on beating Tennessee this Friday in the Sweet 16, but the staff is making time to reach out to potential portal targets. We already know a handful of names on the Wildcats’ radar, too.
Below is a running list of every transfer portal prospect Kentucky has shown interest in. For more in-depth intel on which UK coach is leading the charge, how serious the interest is, when possible visits might happen, and more, make sure to head on over to KSR+ where Jacob Polacheck has all the latest scoop.
