Where the Florida Gators sit with each official visitor from the June 9-11 weekend

Success from a Florida Gators official visit weekend can’t be measured in the first few days after it ends. Rather, it takes weeks to fully gauge how fruitful it was.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the group of 15 recruits who officially visited the Gators from June 9-11 and see where the program sits with each two months later.
–4-star LB Myles Graham, Gainesville (Fla.) Buchholz: FLORIDA GATORS COMMIT. Graham picked the Gators on Aug. 14, 2022. He has completely shut things down.
-4-star TE Walter Matthews, Hiram (Ga.): Matthews committed to Southern California over Florida on June 14.
-4-star WR Chance Robinson, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas: MIAMI COMMIT. There was a time when it looked like Florida might flip Robinson. But after the Gators picked up a third receiver commit with the flip of Tawaski Abrams from FSU in July, they moved in another direction. At last check, Florida wasn’t pursuing Robinson.
-4-star WR Caleb Odom, Carrollton (Ga.): Odom committed to Alabama on July 15.

The biggest remaining target for the Gators from June 9-11 is an in-state DB
-4-star CB/S Zay Mincey, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland: Florida has long been the On3 RPM favorite, but of late Miami has started to generate some buzz. The ‘Canes hosted him the final weekend in July. The 4-star recruit probably is Florida’s top remaining corner target. Alabama, perhaps the other main contender, already has five defensive backs committed. That said, Mincey appears to be a big Tide target and he is high on Alabama. The Tide beat Florida for another defensive back this summer — 4-star corner Jameer Grimsley It doesn’t seem anyone knows when he might reveal a decision. Some thought it could happen soon. But we are now hearing it might drag out awhile. The feeling on our end is that this is a tight race.
-4-star OT Michael Uini, Copperas Cove (Texas): Uini committed to Georgia on June 30.
-4-star WR Jerrae Hawkins, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy: Hawkins committed to Florida over Penn State and Miami on June 26.
-4-star edge Jaylen Harvey, Potomac (Md.) Quince Orchard: Harvey revealed a top three of Maryland, Penn State, and Southern California last week. Florida probably is filled up at edge.
-3-star TE Eric Karner, Itasca (Ill.) Immaculate Conception: Karner committed to Texas A&M on June 22.

-3-star CB Justin Denson Jr., Providence (R.I.) La Salle Academy: Denson committed to Michigan State on July 4. He listed Florida as his No. 1 after this visit but the Gators wanted to see him in camp before moving forward. That didn’t happen.
The Gators landed 2 offensive line commits from this weekend
-3-star OT Marcus Mascoll, Snellville (Ga.) South Gwinnett: Mascoll committed to Florida over LSU on June 19.
-3-star DL Michai Boireau, Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside: Boireau committed to Florida over Georgia on June 19.
-3-star S Ashton Hampton, Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School: Hampton committed to Clemson on July 15.
-3-star OT/IOL Mike Williams, Baltimore (Md.) Charles Herbert Flowers: Williams committed to Florida on June 12.
-(2023) UR edge Quincy Ivory, East Los Angeles College: Ivory committed to Florida on June 10. He enrolled at Florida this summer and will have three years of eligibility remaining. Ivory played quarterback and linebacker last season at East Los Angeles College. On defense, he recorded 8 sacks, 12.5 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries in 10 games as a freshman.
