Where Michigan stands in updated On3 Industry national team recruiting rankings

Michigan is now No. 6 on the 2024 On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings following the verbal commitment of On300 Belleville (Mich.) High linebacker Jeremiah Beasley on Wednesday.

At 6-foot-0.5, 210 pounds, Beasley is listed as the No. 274 overall prospect and No. 28 linebacker in the country, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media services. He’s also the No. 6 athlete in the state of Michigan.

Michigan 2024 Recruiting Class

On Tuesday, the Wolverines fell two spots out of the Top 5 but are now tied for the second-most verbal commitments (24) across all of college football with Minnesota. Beasley is the 13th four-star junior prospect to commit to Michigan, whose total score sits higher than the likes of Notre Dame, Oregon, Tennessee, LSU, Florida State, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.

Team rankings are determined based on each program’s 12 highest-rated pledges.

Multiple 2024 top targets remain on Michigan’s board, including Top 100 Springfield (Ohio) High cornerback Aaron Scott, five-star Chicago (Ill.) St. Ignatius defensive lineman Justin Scott, Top 100 Burley (Idaho) Senior wide receiver Gatlin Bair, Top 100 Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna safety Zaquan Patterson and On300 Copperas (Tex.) High offensive tackle Michael Uini.

2024 Big Ten Recruiting Rankings

The Wolverines currently sit No. 2 in the Big Ten Conference and trail only Ohio State. Every program in the conference now has at least nine commits in the 2024 class.
